Steal My AI Marketing Playbook: 30 Days of Prompts That Delivered

Inside My AI Marketing Playbook

Table of contents

AI isn’t replacing team strategy or human creativity, but it’s become a not so secret weapon in my agency’s digital marketing and lead generation toolkit. Here’s how I have been using it over the last 30 days and how you can start doing the same:

  • Digging Into Competitor Data & Market Trends
I use AI to scan SEO metrics, ad copy, backlink strategies, content structures, and even pricing models from the competition. It helps me spot opportunities and identify what’s working (and what’s not) in the market.
    Prompt Example:
Based on the provided SEMrush data of our competitors’ top-performing keywords, analyze the search volume, keyword difficulty, and current ranking positions. Additionally, assess the keyword overlap between our domain and each competitor to identify unique opportunities and areas of direct competition.

  • Tracking Traffic & Engagement Patterns
With AI, I can quickly interpret traffic data and engagement metrics across multiple competitors. Bounce rates, session duration, and content performance. It all tells a story—and AI helps me read it faster.
    Prompt Example:
Based on the provided SEMrush data for [Competitor A], [Competitor B], and [Competitor C], analyze their organic and paid traffic trends over the past 12 months, noting any significant fluctuations or patterns. Additionally, evaluate user engagement metrics, including bounce rate, average session duration, and pages per session, to assess the effectiveness of their content strategies.

  • Refining Buyer Personas with Real Data
AI makes it easier to group leads into meaningful segments and build out personas based on behavior, goals, and decision-making triggers which helps me craft messages that actually land.
    Prompt Example:
Based on the provided lead data, group the contacts into 3 primary audience segments. Then, develop a detailed buyer persona for each, including their goals, challenges, decision triggers, and preferred communication style.

  • Keyword Research & Clustering
Instead of combing through endless keyword spreadsheets, I use AI to cluster keywords by intent and generate clear content briefs. The result: better content that matches what people are actually searching for.
    Prompt Example:
Analyze the following SEMrush data for our competitors’ top-performing keywords, including metrics such as search volume, keyword difficulty, and current ranking positions. Assess the keyword overlap between our domain and each competitor to identify unique opportunities and areas of direct competition. Based on this analysis, generate keyword clusters categorized by search intent, and develop optimized content briefs for each cluster.

  • Sharpening On-Page SEO
From optimizing blog content and metadata to generating schema, AI helps create consistent, click-worthy (and typo-free) content.
    Prompt Example:
Generate JSON-LD schema markup for an FAQ page on [topic].

  • Boosting Technical SEO with Structured Data
Structured markup is essential, but manually creating it is time-consuming. AI handles article, product, and service schema for me, ensuring search engines get the information needed for our content to perform.
    Prompt Example:
Create a schema markup snippet for an article about [topic] with author, datePublished, and mainEntity.

  • Backlink Opportunity Spotting
We analyze backlink profiles of competitors to find untapped referring domains. AI makes it easy to flag high-authority sites we haven’t connected with yet—and brainstorm ways to reach them.
    Prompt Example:
Based on the provided SEMrush data of our competitors’ backlink profiles, analyze the total number of backlinks, referring domains, and domain authority. Identify high-quality backlink sources that our domain has yet to acquire, and suggest potential strategies for securing similar backlinks.

  • Fixing Internal Linking Gaps
AI helps me clean up internal linking across sites, suggest connections between content hubs, and improve overall SEO structure, all without spending hours in spreadsheets.
    Prompt Example:
Analyze this list of blog posts and service pages and suggest an optimized internal linking structure that supports SEO best practices and improves topical relevance.

  • Customizing Elementor Layouts with Code
I’ve been using AI to write small CSS and JavaScript snippets that extend Elementor’s functionality, refine padding, create sticky effects, or improve mobile layouts.
    Prompt Example:
Write custom CSS to adjust column padding and spacing for a mobile layout in Elementor.

  • Building Smarter Lead Gen Forms
We don’t rely on templated forms. AI helps us code lightweight, responsive forms with validation, hidden UTM fields, and integrations with CRMs or email tools.
    Prompt Example:
Generate HTML and JavaScript for a responsive lead gen form with name, email, and phone fields, including basic validation.

  • Writing High-Performing Ad Copy at Scale
Instead of rewriting the same ad five ways, we use AI to generate multiple angles fast, targeting different audience segments, CTAs, and offers for A/B testing.
    Prompt Example:
Create 5 variations of Google Search ad copy for a [product/service] targeting [audience]. Include a strong CTA and a unique value proposition in each version.

  • Humanizing Email Campaigns
For healthcare and other sensitive verticals, I’ve used AI to help draft nurturing sequences that feel human and empathetic, while still being structured with CTAs that guide users through the funnel.
    Prompt Example:
Compose a comprehensive post-appointment follow-up drip campaign for patients, ensuring the tone is empathetic and human, and adhering to best practices in healthcare communication. Ensure to include compelling CTAs.

  • Visual & Creative Brainstorming
From infographics to video scripts, AI helps me ideate quickly, especially when I need to simplify complex topics for specific audiences.
    Prompt Example:
Analyze the latest trends using Google Trends, Semrush, Exploding Topics, and other relevant data sources to identify topics that are currently popular among women aged 25 to 45. Based on this analysis, provide five trending concepts for infographics on [topic], ensuring each concept is tailored to this demographic and effectively simplifies complex information.

  • Improving Conversion Rates with Real Insights
Instead of guessing why users aren’t converting, I feed AI actual user behavior (heatmaps, scroll depth, form drop-offs) and get hypotheses and test ideas instantly.
    Prompt Example:
Analyze the user behavior data from our landing page and identify three key areas of friction. Based on these insights, generate three alternative headline and CTA combinations designed to improve conversion rates.

  • Turning Data Into Executive Summaries
At the end of each month, I rely on AI to help summarize results across platforms and suggest next steps. It’s saved me hours—and my clients appreciate the clarity.
    Prompt Example:
Based on this Google Analytics and SEMrush data from the last 30 days, write an executive summary highlighting key wins, any losses, and recommended next steps for our digital marketing efforts.

    Strategic Content Planning
I use AI not only for content creation but also to help map out a bigger-picture strategy. Whether I’m planning a launch or building out a 30-day campaign, AI helps me shape content themes around real business goals and pain points.
    Prompt Example:
Using the following list of services, generate a 30-day content calendar that aligns with each offering. Include blog topics, LinkedIn post ideas, and CTAs that support lead generation and brand authority.

    Repurposing High-Performing Content
There’s no reason to reinvent the wheel. When I see a blog post or landing page that’s working, I use AI to help turn that single asset into multiple pieces of content—each tailored to a different format or channel.
    Prompt Example:
Take this blog post and rewrite it as: (1) a LinkedIn post, (2) an Instagram caption, and (3) a short, punchy email for our list. Maintain brand voice but adjust tone for each channel.

    Audience Research & Persona Refinement
AI is surprisingly effective at helping me clarify who I’m speaking to. I use it to uncover pain points, language patterns, and buying triggers that might not be immediately obvious.
    Prompt Example:
Create three detailed buyer personas for a B2B healthcare marketing agency. For each, include job title, main challenges, how they measure success, and what messaging would resonate most.

  • Objection-Handling Through Content
When sales slow or leads drop off, I often use AI to dig into the “why.” Then I create content that directly addresses those concerns before prospects even raise them.
    Prompt Example:
Based on these three common objections to our services, create social post ideas, email subject lines, and FAQ-style content to proactively address each one.

  • Testing Tone & Brand Voice
Sometimes I want to test how a message lands in different tones, especially when targeting different audiences or experimenting with brand personality. AI helps me explore voice without spending hours rewriting.
    Prompt Example:
Take this paragraph from our About page and rewrite it in three distinct tones: bold and edgy, warm and nurturing, and professional and direct. Maintain clarity and keep the message intact.
